  • Not worth the money & trouble. I had a broken/frozen pipe outside, and he was fairly quick to respond after contacting him. He charged $150 just to come out and look at the broken pipe and then changed me $475 on top of that to change out two simple PVC pipes (couldn’t use more than $10 in parts). Total time at my house was no more than 45 mins, and charged me over $600. The next day I went outside to put a heating tape on the newly “fixed” pipe and noticed a small leak around the same area that he claimed was “fixed”, so I called him back and he told me he would see what he can do about sending someone out that day… I could tell I wasn’t a priority on his list because I hadn’t heard back from him in over 3 hours so I decided to call him back and get a status, and he told me that it was going to have to wait until tomorrow at 9am…. After a bit of arguing, I told him to call when he arrived since no one will be at the house when he arrives since we both work during the day. He finally called me at 1100 (2 hours late) and told me that he missed a crack in the copper fitting and it would be an additional $250 to fix it. I told him to pound sand and put everything back together. I called another plumber and came and fixed his mistake for $150 total (included $100 brass fitting). Bottom line, this guy is a major price gouger and doesn’t do good work in the long run. Go with someone else. I wish I read the google reviews prior to calling him to identify the trend of “over priced”.

  • I have been with Airstar Services for over 4years. I have always been treated with great respect and I value my relationship with them. I have FHW for my warranty company and they have worked well with the warranty company as well. Recently I was without air conditioning and called Airstar, as always they came out same day and dianiosed my problem. Airstar called it in to Fidelity. Once the part was approved by FHW, Airstar put me on the install schedule and I was cooling two days later. So total time I went without air was three days. Great job Airstar Services and Fidelity!!!!!!!!!

  • Extremely frustrating....It has been so extremely frustrating to be contracted to Stone Creek Plumbing through home warranty. Originally, they did call back after a few days and said they could only meet at the house at a specific time that afternoon, "no later". So, with my husband out of town, I left work and rushed home to meet them there...they finally showed up an hour late. They rushed thru inspection without even letting me show them the issue by running the washer, and pretty much looked at me as if I were "crazy" the entire time....had they let me run the water, they would clearly see the backup...it was just that no one had been home running the water for over a day. They rushed out of the house demanding their "down payment" or what is actually the service fee set by the home warranty company. Then they have never come back since. They do not returns phone calls to home warranty via email or by phone. My husband contacted them directly and they say the owner will call us back, but no one ever calls. We contacted the home warranty company AGAIN and told them our frustrations with this company and they called them AGAIN and these guys have the audacity to tell them they HAVE called us back (LIE) and that they are "unable to do the work"....AND they invoiced the home warranty company anyways...for what exactly??? These guys had the chance to gain a potential customer and increase positive praise that we would spread, but instead have caused us nothing but frustration and now we will make sure that others here about the negative experience they can expect. Maybe they only treat their home warranty contracted customers this way, WHO KNOWS, but we will never use them for anything in the future, so I guess we will never find out.. I agree with what MrsMadrid says below in her review....."If you can't fulfill commitments with home warranty claims than get off their list of contractors and do prospective customers a favor."

  • I recently had True Tech Home Services come look at an electrical issue I had in my home. They made 2 visits, one on 07/17/2017 and one on 07/22/2017. I was charged $89 and $366, respectively, just to analyze the problem. The technicians said they found 4 shorts in the wall and they'd have to cut into the wall to replace the wiring. They quoted me at over $2200 (in addition to the $455 I had already paid) and that didn't even include the cost to repair the wall once they were done. Long story short, that seemed a little fishy to me, so I contacted the original electrician. He found their report to be completely fallacious. There were no shorts in the wall, the voltage they reported was completely inaccurate, etc. He had the problem resolved in a matter of minutes. He even took a video to show True Tech's report was completely bogus!I'm currently in the process of disputing the charged on my credit card.I very highly recommend staying away from True Tech Home Services!
